Our Alice's Adventures in Wonderland LRP will run on the 21st of February 2026 and we are just gauging interest at the moment. Official slot booking will open sometime in November, fill in our form above or keep a watch on our socials for details!


Premise
You're a character from the book 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll, who has gotten yourself stuck in Alice's dreary, mundane world. Coming here has twisted you into some tragic two-legged version of your three, four or many-legged self. You almost look... Like a human! It's disgusting!
Alongside some friendly (and not-so friendly) humans you meet along the way, you've got to work out how you got here, and however you're going to get home to Wonderland. But don't dally! The time is running out, your magic is fading and you risk being stuck here, in this magic-dead wasteland forever!

Rules


This is a rules-light game, with some abilities and special details that make each character unique, but no combat and no heavy rules system to learn. It's basically a murder mystery without the murder (probably) and with a few, little magical seeds to enhance roleplay.


Character


There are a specific number of roles for this game, and each attendee will be assigned one of the characters from the book. You'll be able to rank your top 5 characters and we will endeavour to give everyone one of the characters that they've chosen, though it may not be always possible to get your favourite. Attendance will be first come first served, but character choice will not be. We will try to assign characters fairly and in plenty of time for you to gather costume.


Your character will have some special flavour ability or unique trait, and a similar backstory and personality as they do in the book. Otherwise, your costume and how they act now they're in the real world will be completely up to you. The idea is that they've been transformed to better fit this world, so you don't have to walk around on 4 legs as the Cheshire cat or creep around as the Caterpillar, but try to make it as obvious as possible which character you're playing if you can.


Event Details


We are based on the book by Lewis Carroll, so you don't need to worry about sticking to details from any of the films or modern representations. You're free to be creative with the brief.


The event will be catered with a buffet, and will last approximately 5 hours. We do not serve alcohol so you are free to BYOB. Soft drinks and snacks will be available to buy.
