Live Roleplay (LRP)
LRP, or Live Role-Playing, is an immersive form of role-playing game where participants physically act out their characters and scenarios. Using costumes and props players engage in storytelling and adventure, bringing their characters to life in real-time under the watchful eye of the Games Master, who writes the story. Each event can vary in theme and rules, allowing for a unique experience that combines creativity, collaboration, and fun. Whether it's a fantasy world or a historical setting, LARP invites players to step into a different reality and explore new together.

Regular Human LARPers: Vampire Council
Across the UK, and particularly in Glasgow, there are creatures of the night who prowl, politic and feed. In RHL, most characters are vampires, and members of the Vampiric Council, leaders of their clans attending in order to represent their clans at the Council. The Archcouncillor is the head of the local Vampiric Council and presides over the Council Session.
At Council Sessions, you may want to make political alliances with other Vampire Council members, band together to defeat external threats, cause untold chaos just to try and get away with it…
The most important thing is that RHL:VC do not take ourselves seriously at all. We are, first and foremost, a comedy sitcom LRP where we want to fall in love with the characters and the story, there's no mindset of ‘winning’ or ‘losing’. There is only hilarity and chaos, with a lot of In Character drama along the way, where we can create a great story together.

The Gladiator Program
In a world where the powerful are very powerful and those who aren't are considered scum, after being plagued by a world at war for years, the law was established that made it illegal to attack any of your foes directly or to wage war on anyone.
As an answer to this, just one year ago, the Sponsors came up with the Gladiator program, using lowly gladiators and their low ranked representatives to sort out their differences by fighting one on one with knives. By keeping it low-profile, they are able to sidestep the law and solve their problems with a different type of violence than war.

Alongside the political heavyweights who oppress the common man, and the trading corporations who hold food and resources to ransom, it's an era with a God for everything, and all are worshipped freely. The people are very spiritual, and as such, the religious sorts wield a great deal of power with the masses, as it is only they who offer true clarity and salvation.

The nobility, the churches and the traders all pull the strings, but it is the champions who wield the blades. Which ones will you fight for? ​

All events are 18+, this is an event with full-contact fighting with LARP safe daggers for some participants, other participants are purely roleplay based and do not need to take part in combat. It is designed to be partially fighting and partially political, depending on what kind of LARP you're after. See below for more details:
